VIDEO: Cooking With Action Bronson

cooking with action bronson

“I would probably make a pan seared foie gras with maybe a cranberry confit on top and a little bit of Swiss chard just to, you know, play with his elegant palate. Hopefully he’s not gonna f*ckin murk me” -Action Bronson on what he would make for Hannibal Lector if he was serving him dinner

Queens, NY native Action Bronson has been putting out some nice tracks lately. Check out my writeup on “Beautiful Music” at pinboardblog.com. In this video via karmaloop.com we get to know Bronson better on location at Church in Boston, MA. He talks about quitting rapping for cooking (I guess that’s sort of the Flavor Flav route), what he would cook for Hannibal Lecter and more.

Props to him for name-checking pan seared foie gras and cranberry confit. See, stuff like this and the name is enough for me to dig this guy. His current project “Doctor Lector” is on iTunes now. The new album “Well Done” with producer Statik Selector drops July 5th.
