Here’s Tony Bennett & Amy Winehouse’s take on the 1930s pop-jazz standard “Body And Soul”.
It’s nice to see Amy Winehouse humanized again and showing some artistry, lest we forget she was a person, not just an addict as she was portrayed in the press. If you’re a Winehouse fan it might be hard not to get a little weepy at the sight of the late singer looking healthy and being sassy while giving the backstory to this duet in the teaser clip “In The Studio with Tony Bennett & Amy Winehouse” below. Bennett’s Duets II album, also featuring Lady Gaga, Aretha Franklin and many others, comes out on September 20th.
