University of Utah student and environmental activist Tim DeChristopher was sentenced this week to 2 years in federal prison and fined fined $10,000. His crime? Disrupting the auction of more than 100,000 acres of federal land for oil and gas drilling by posing as a bidder. His act of civil disobedience has made him a hero.
