Public Enemy member and reality show star Flavor Flav has decided to close down his newly opened chicken restaurants in Iowa. He sites a bad business deal with business partner, Nick Cimino, as the reason for closing the doors, but admits the food was probably the big issue.
“I went up inside there on April 2nd and I found potato salad that expired on February 28th. And it’s then when I realized I can’t do business with this man and I really hope no one ate those potatoes.” -Flavor Flav, as told to TMZ
Oh my! That’s a scene straight out of Fox’s Kitchen Nightmares with Chef Gordon Ramsey. Flav is still set to open a “Flavor Flav’s House of Flavor” in Las Vegas next month. And, as per PETA’s request, the restaurant will likely not be vegetarian.
