There are consequences for every action and technological advances, going paperless and social media has taken its toll on the US Postal Service. Once again there is talk of eliminating Saturday on the mail delivery schedule. USPS was once the largest employer in the US.

So we’re looking at layoffs. With a comprehensive plan in place there would be training programs to move former postal workers and others into employment that works better with environmental concerns and technology. Alas there is no national plan. Green jobs seem more and more like a myth and the unemployed struggle against the changing tide.
