BHM QUOTE: JAY SMOOTH ON POP LIFE, RACE MATTERS & JOHN MAYER

If you haven’t heard by now, a white musician named John Mayer made some stupid comments in an interview with Playboy magazine regarding race, Black women, white women and his private parts. Mayer’s comments were like a stupid comment farm. Stupidity grew everywhere.

With so many opinions from those in the media who talk about race the interview was like a commentary plantation. Deep, rich, fertile soil for lots talk about race (or something) growing everywhere. I too have grown weary of the race pundits, even the good ones.

And I’m not alone. In this video the illustrious Jay Smooth deftly tackles talking about not talking about John Mayer (or something). Just watch it, you’ll see.

Why a free download? Because giving is green! And I can give this download for free because WBAI is a Non-commercial, listener sponsored radio station. Kind of like PBS or Channel Thirteen occasionally they ask for donations.

The station is currently in fund raising mode. If you like what they do, if you like this mix, if you want to support the Underground Railroad with Jay Smooth donate to them HERE
